TRACC Johannesburg Summit, 6-7 November 2013

More than 80 people from over 30 companies around Africa attended the 2013 TRACC Johannesburg Summit. Attendees from Anglo American Platinum, Delta Beverages, Eland Platinum, I&J, Kenya Airways, Namibia Breweries Ltd., and more learned how sustainable growth and competitiveness are being achieved in Africa through the empowerment of people.

Day One was packed with inspiring case studies, presented by leaders from World Class Operations ‒ ABI Pretoria, Illovo Sugar, Indigo Cosmetics, and SABMiller (Africa, Tanzania – Mbeya). Robin Rigney’s account of how Consupaq delivered on the promise to become a supplier of choice to its chosen markets, and to return sustainable shareholder value, proved to be one of the day’s highlights.

Day Two followed with interactive sessions led by Continuous Improvement (CI) experts from Anglo American Platinum (RBMR), ABI Pretoria and SABMiller Tanzania, which were well received by an engaged audience.
